In vino we trust at the Stellenbosch Wine Festival

One of the best ways to experience the magic of the Winelands town of Stellenbosch is through the product they are best known for – wine! The annual Stellenbosch Wine Festival, taking place from Friday, 23 to Sunday, 25 February 2018, presents hundreds of wines from the area, from large and award-winning producers to smaller and niche boutique wineries. Presented by Pick n Pay and taking place at the Coetzenburg Sports Grounds, this is a family-friendly event with plenty of food and lifestyle offerings too.  

Choose between two different tasting packages:

• The General Wine Tasting Experience: Includes a branded wine glass and a cashless card with 20 preloaded tastings.
• The Premium Wine Tasting Experience: Includes tastings from award-winning Wine of Origin Stellenbosch wines, seven cultivar-themed tables and a chance to meet the winemakers, a branded wine glass for tasting, cashless card with 30 free pre-loaded tastings and a complimentary Charcuterie platter per person.

But wait, there’s still more:

Gourmet Lane: Take a walk down Gourmet Lane for scrumptious eats – there’ll be something for every taste and preference. And there will be plenty of shaded seating areas where you can enjoy your food.

Fun for the little ones: To keep your little ones busy, check them in at the Momentum Health Kiddies Area where there will be plenty for them to do. The space caters to children between the ages of two and 12 years.

One for the road: No doubt you’ll want to purchase wine to take home with you. And if you needed more motivation to do so, the good news is that Aramex is offering free delivery of wine purchased at the event to any address in South Africa – cheers to that!
