Head to the Fugard Theatre for the South African premiere of Joshua Harmon’s Broadway hit, Significant Other, starting at 8pm on 30 May 2018 and runs until 7 July 2018.
Harmon also wrote the popular show Bad Jews, which sold out in its three seasons in both Cape Town and Johannesburg. His Broadway romantic comedy, Significant Other, has made waves in New York already and is now set to hit Capetonian shores for a night out of riveting entertainment and pizazz at The Fugard Theatre.
The play follows the story of Jordan Berman who is desperately looking for Mr Right, but he gets it wrong every time. He and his three best friends navigate love and friendship in the city of New York in their twenties.
While on his path to find his one true love, Jordan realises the only thing harder than looking for the one, is supporting your friends as they head off on the journey of marriage.
The show has been praised for its wit and comedy by the likes of the Hollywood Reporter and Chicago Tribune, proving to be an epic, fresh and modern show you simply can’t miss out on.
Please note: Significant Other has an age restriction of 16.
