Unique African curio's, crafts, gifts, jewellery and clothing in Noordhoek Farm Village
A gem in picturesque Noordhoek Farm Village the beauty, warmth, tradition and humour that Africa has to offer are captured in Namaste's range of unique curios, crafts, gifts and jewellery. Owner Jeanine van Rensburg sources locally made products often by previously disadvantaged communities. Local entrepreneurs regularly drop by to sell or show their goods and many items are personalised with a short story about their craftsman. Catering not just to tourists but to locals as well you're sure to find an authentic and memorable gift.
Namaste is a colourful treasure trove whose shelves are stocked high with Tangle wood frames, animal figurines made with Austrian crystals by Treasurines, Tanzanian Kikoy towels, African sculptures and Maridadi African inspired pewter figurines. Children will love Tomm's toys made with soft and natural vegetable leather, books, tambourines and Nandi crafts ideal for pocket money treats.
Plenty more upstairs
Up the winding wooden staircase you'll find a stunning range of clothes and accessories from local designers including Love Clothing, Just Cruizin, Calico and Trinity Jones. The store also stocks quality garments from Thailand and Nepal and a range of kids clothing including Hooligans Clothing, Afri-Babes and Shoo-Shoes. Whilst women will find pretty summer dresses and camisoles men will find colourful shirts and children will find African prints. There is something for everyone.
