Find a host of Carrol Boyes products and ethical African crafts at African Experience
African Experience offers an extraordinary range of eclectic, contemporary and imaginative, hand-made African crafts. As a founding member of Proudly South African and an official Carrol Boyes Functional Art stockist, (winner of a Carrol Boyes silver stockist award) you can be assured at all times of sound environmental and community ethics, as well as high quality merchandise.
A large part of this Noordhoek Village shop features an extensive range of Carrol Boyes silverware which always make fantastic gifts - butter knives, sugar spoons, tea pots, serving spoons, platters, vases and of course the bottle stopper which is the shop’s best seller.
However, the range of items stocked at African Experience will have your shopping covered from kids’ toys with an African theme to textiles, ceramics, recycled glass ware, silverware and woven baskets. Expect Zulu beads and wine glass jewellery, African clocks and moon calendars; masks, drums, wall hangings, photo frames, tea pots and African dolls – all of these can be found in this welcoming store. At African Experience the merchandise are unsurprisingly African themed.
Products are sourced from local Capetonian suppliers where possible and owner Tom makes an effort to ensure he has met the craftsman or producer of the goods so he is certain it is not cheap and Chinese!

African Experience is part of Noordhoek Farm Village, a community of shops, restaurants, kids activities, as well as a hotel and spa. Other African themed shops at Noordhoek Farm Village include Ndoro and Namaste.
