The annual Ride2Nowhere mountain bike stage race takes place in the beautiful and charming town of McGregor from Friday, 8 September 2017, to Sunday, 10 September 2017.
The three-day (Friday to Sunday) event will see mountain biking enthusiasts test their mettle – and have lots of fun along the way! The route is carefully selected and the trails marked by the renowned routemaster ‘Generaal Con Viljoen’. Riders can be assured of a top-class experience on McGregor’s mountain biking landscape.
Participants can expect some fun and flowing single track and one or two challenging climbs. Approximately 80% of the route is on private land, which is not open to the public so that’s a chance to explore some unseen territory. Riders can choose between the longer 60km route or the shorter 40km option. Riders can opt to go it solo or entry as a team in either of the distances.
The mission of Ride2Nowhere is to host a quality, professionally organised mountain bike event that focuses on the fun elements of cycling. Cyclists and supporters are invited to experience the warm, friendly and festive atmosphere that makes the town of McGregor a popular weekend getaway spot for city slickers.

The weekend will be packed with entertainment for the spectators, a day care service for the little ones, meals for supporters, and much more. Spring has arrived so look forward to breathtaking scenery and beautiful blossoming flowers.
