Sporting 99 bottles of beer on its wall, this popular haunt is not only offering folk the chance to enjoy the world of beer and tasty nosh, but also lets you and your mates poke your brains through a high-energy and buzzing weekly pub quiz.

Taking place every Tuesday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, the activity, which is hosted by the guys at OMG Quiz, is a fun way to truly test your knowledge in the realms of world trivia, and more. In addition, the exciting event sometimes hosts themed quiz nights where participants can expect questions around particular movies (think Harry Potter and Star Wars), TV shows (Friends and the like), sports and general knowledge – there are also prizes for those who come out tops.

What’s more, Beerhouse knows that the intensity of having to keep your mind sharp needs to be maintained with one thing: food. And so, quiz participants can purchase the bar’s classic Cheese Burger or the Mushroom Patty Burger for just R65 (normal price is R95 and R85 respectively).

Launched in 2013, the ‘yellow house of beer’ as it is known, prides itself in being the ultimate location for beer enthusiasts to not only taste and guzzle down enticing concoctions, but to learn more about the seemingly endless world of IPA’s and Lagers. Boasting an insatiable list of mixes from around the world, Beerhouse has come out tops in not just being a place where one can enjoy beer and some grub, but as a destination in and of itself with lots to explore.
