South Africa's president Thabo Mbeki will be attending the official Freedom Day celebration in Cape Town
South African President Thabo Mbeki deliver a keynote address at the 2008 celebrations in Cape Town.
Mbeki will be at Turfhall Park in Landsdowne to head up one of the official Freedom Celebrations in Cape Town.
He will deliver a keynote address followed by cultural performances and exhibitions.
Motorists should note that Jan Smuts Drive between Turfhall Rd and Lawson Rd will be closed to traffic from 08h00 - 20h00 and all side streets in the vicinity of the Stadium from 06h00 - 20h00 on Sunday 27 April 2008.
