Robb Report has included Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa among "The 100 Best Places to Stay in 2006"

Robb Report has included Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa among "The 100 Best Places to Stay in 2006" in the premiere issue of Robb Report Luxury Resorts magazine. The hotel was also named "Haute of Africa."

With a monthly circulation of 104,000, Robb Report is read by the richest and most influential people in America. It is an upmarket lifestyle magazine covering the luxury market and includes content on exotic automobiles, boats and aircraft, travel, technology, fashion, sports, investments, real estate and other lifestyle topics for the affluent market.

Travel writer Bill Whitman visited Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa in November last year and his article on the resort appears in Robb Report Luxury Resorts. He describes the hotel as "a slick retreat marked by contemporary design and amenities.... and high-style comfort."

The Pezula Group is South Africa's leading developer of luxury property and recently won five of the top awards at the prestigious Homes Overseas Awards 2006, including the award of the evening for Best Developer of the Year, two other Gold awards for Best Luxury Development and Best South African Development and two Silver awards for the world's Best Golf Development and Best Sustainable Development.

The Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa is the latest addition to the Pezula development, which also includes an upmarket residential resort, a world-class 18 hole Championship Golf Course and Club; and the Field of Dreams sporting facility with its world-class tennis courts, sports fields, golf driving range, equestrian centre, facilities for pétanque and archery and access to the secluded Noetzie beach and river.

Located on the Eastern Head of Knysna on the exquisite Garden Route coast, the Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa is surrounded by rugged cliffs, ancient forests and sheltered beaches. With sweeping views of the Pezula Championship Golf Course, the Indian Ocean and the Knysna Lagoon, it is a haven of privacy and luxury.

Seventy-eight stylish suites, four to a villa, each with its own fireplace, balcony, well-stocked pantry and spacious bathroom, deliver a whole new world of luxury in an elegant African style.

The core building houses a sumptuous cigar lounge, champagne and whisky bar, library, wine cellar and gourmet restaurant, Zachary's, where renowned executive chef Geoffrey Murray serves the freshest local ingredients inspired by global trends.

The extraordinary award-winning Spa, named Best Spa in South Africa in the 2005 Professional Beauty Awards, includes a 12m heated indoor pool, state-of-the-art gymnasium, sauna and steam room, nail bar, hair salon and nine therapy rooms.

Guests have access to secluded Noetzie beach and activities including canoeing, fishing, hiking, birding and nature trails. The estate's Field of Dreams sporting complex offers an equestrian centre, four tennis courts, a multi-purpose sports oval and golf driving range.

The Pezula Travel Desk offers international travel booking and foreign exchange services, airport transfers and excursions. The Pezula helicopter and jet can be chartered by guests to virtually any destination.
