The world-renowned Icelandic indie/folk band will perform in the Mother City
It was hinted at to those who attended Rocking the Daisies, and now it has been confirmed! The international sensation that is Of Monsters And Men will perform live in Cape Town at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden on Wednesday, 30 March 2016.
2016 OF MONSTERS AND MEN CONCERT DATES SOUTH AFRICA

That’s correct ladies and gentlemen, the Icelandic quintet known for its hits ‘Little Talks’ and ‘King and Lionheart’ will rock the Mother City next summer with some of its classic indie folk compositions, as well as songs from its latest album Beneath The Skin, which was released this year.
The band first gained notoriety in 2011 (only one year after they formed) when it released its debut album My Head Is an Animal, which shot to the top of the Billboard Top 200 chart and sold over 2 million copies worldwide. The lead single on the album, ‘Little Talks’, was a quadruple platinum hit, reaching the top 10 charts across the world.
Since then, Of Monsters And Men has performed live on stage at some of the biggest festivals on the planet, such as Lollapalooza, Coachella, Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds to name but a few.
Its songs could be described as infectious, but don’t just take our word for it; find out for yourself by booking tickets to see the group live in the shadow of Table Mountain, in the most beautiful botanical garden in the country.
