Judith Sephuma New Album 'Change Is Here'

New album was released in July/August 2008 by the much loved South African musician

This talented South African musician with an impressive track record combines deeply rooted traditional music with contemporary tones, mostly jazz and at times Soulful RnB.

By this she has crafted a strongly South African yet globally accessible sound that has earned her legions of fans.

‘Change Is Here’ is a follow up to her debut album, A cry, A smile, a dance which was released in 2001.

This album brought Sephuma’s
remarkable voice to a wider audience after she had already earned the attention of the more serious music community whilst studying music at the University of Cape Town where she graduated with an Honours degree in Jazz Performance in 2000.

With the title track as its
major appeal several years later, still a radio favourite, A cry, a smile a dance turned Sephuma into one of South Africa’s premier artists, performing extensively both across the globe and here at home, earning several awards as well as platinum sales.
