Arts and Culture once again come together for the beginning of something great

The Cape Town Festival proposes to officially launch its 2008 event on Monday, 21 April 2008 with a highly exciting and actively engaging programme tailored to our VIP audience of 350 media representatives, government officials, partners, stakeholders and corporate sponsors.

The event is an opportunity for National, Provincial and City leaders to join with Arts & Culture patrons in celebrating the launch of the Cape Town Festival 2008.

The Premier evening also provides an opportunity for the Festival’s Patrons and funders to address the invited guests.

Our current patrons are Minister of Arts & Culture, Dr Pallo Jordan , Western Cape Provincial Premier, Mr Ebrahim Rasool and Executive Mayor of Cape Town , Ms Helen Zille.

The cocktail function will take place in the Whale Room at the South African Museum, 6pm-8pm, building excitement with red carpet entry and photographing the entire guest as they stride in.
