Mink & Trout on Bree Street

Prime Edgy Bistro in Cape Town

Opened in September 2016, this Wine Bar gives Capetonians a hotspot for stylish suppers or funky lunches with friends and colleagues. The city centre is never short of drinking spots or lunch places, however, Mink & Trout brings a different flavour to Bree Street - they bring you Karoo Lamb Bredie! For lunch!

Mink & Trout, named after the two existing owners, has completely transformed  the premises, to a modernized and trendy dining experience for all food and wine lovers. The atmosphere inside gives you a subtle sophisticated, yet off-beat bounce, which is incredibly fun to sit in, especially because the musical playlist compliments your meal, phenomenally, well.

This seasonal menu aims to give patrons an array of tastes in one dish- like the gnocchi with mushrooms, baby spinach, homemade pancetta, a poached egg and a parmesan sauce. Sounds simply sensational, doesn't it? Another delicious option is any of their specialty salads, for a healthy but hearty alternative.

We love the soulfully styled decor inside the restaurant!

Tip: Use this eatery as a special occasion venue with friends and family, to treat yourselves.

Note: Parking on the street can be difficult to find so be sure to arrive earlier than your booking to secure parking.

Opening Times: Monday - Saturday 12pm - 3.30pm (lunch); 6.30pm - 11pm (dinner)
