Elegant eatery in Cape Town
The opening of the magnificently elegant Silo Hotel has given Capetonians a new hotspot to embrace - The Granary Cafe. This fabulous cafe is perfect for any time of day with a meticulously crafted menu to delight all palates.
Mornings without coffee is part of our dreaded nightmares however even worse than this is the thought of a bland breakfast. To curb your craving for a flavoursome brekkie head to Granary Cafe and order their Poached eggs served with ripe avocado, fresh tomato and halloumi for only R70! Start your day off right!
Stuck for lunch? Not anymore - visit the stunning eatery for their Beef tartar which is expertly prepared and well simply delicious. Beef Tartar is perfect for lunch as it’s not too heavy - you won't’ need to nap right after and you’ll be eloquently satisfied.
Be sure to pop in for their afternoon tea - prepare to nibble on the tastiest treats around from 2pm to 5pm daily. Enjoy a delicate selection of sweet and savoury treats including delicious petite gateaux, buttermilk scones and clotted cream accompanying our afternoon tea. You can enjoy a variety of different coffee and loose teas.
We love the afternoon tea experience especially the coffees which are roasted in Cape Town by Truth.
Tip: Bring along your camera - you will want to capture the serene views of Cape Town you will see!
Note: Book in advance to advance disappointment.
Opening Times: Breakfast: Monday - Sunday: 7am - 11am; Lunch: Monday - Sunday: 12pm - 3pm; Dinner: Monday - Sunday: 7pm till late (Kitchen closes at 10pm)
