Let it be known to all that henceforth, the twentieth day of the tenth month is Global Champagne Day. We, at CapeTownMagazine.com, intend to celebrate with a bottle of bubbly and a whole lot of merriment. The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa is also celebrating this momentous occasion with a champagne affair at their Atlantic Marquee venue on Friday, 20 October 2017.
Guests will be treated to bottomless bubbly (yes, you read that right), which will be accompanied by scrumptious canapes. Global Champagne Day at the Atlantic Marquee is the perfect way to end off your work week and welcome the weekend in. Picture this; you’re elegantly dressed with a glass of award-winning champagne in one hand and a canape in the other, watching the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. It doesn’t get much better than that.

The Atlantic Marquee have arranged for guests to toast with an internationally acclaimed champagne; Champagne Taittinger.
The Champagne Taittinger brand is owned and operated by the French family of the same name. The estate was founded in 1734 and is located in the Reims region of France. Their signature wines are Comtes de Champagne, which is 100% chardonnay and Comtes de Champagne Rosé, which is created by blending chardonnay and pinot noir. The chance to sample truly authentic French champagne isn’t something we see too often in Cape Town, so don’t miss out!

TICKETS TO THE 2017 GLOBAL CHAMPAGNE DAY AT THE TWELVE APOSTLES
Tickets for this elegant affair are available online via Quicket.co.za for R490/p with a R5 booking fee. The event starts at 6pm, and the organisers have set 9pm as the event end time. If you have any questions or queries, please contact the organisers directly on +27 (0)21 683 0387.
Drinking at sunset has been a tradition for hundreds of years (if not, then it should have been), and in honour of this age-old tradition, we've compiled a list of out favourite sundowner spots in the Mother City!
