Toast the weekend with the distinctive Gypsy harmonies while indulging in gin and tonic on Sunday 13 January 2019 at Spice On Main Restaurant and Bar. If you miss out, never fear because you can indulge in this summer offer every Sunday from 13 Jan until the end of February 2019.
THE ENTERTAINMENT
The Hot Club of Cape Town play a variety of fun and lively instrumental jazz reminiscent of the nightclubs of pre-war Paris.
The music combines swing jazz and the distinctive Gypsy harmonies of the Eastern Mediterranean with a hint of Cape jazz thrown into the mix to produce a traditional, yet contemporary and local sound.
THE VENUE AND FOOD
Spice On Main is the on-site restaurant at the chic Sugar Hotel in Green Point. The relaxed but stylish restaurant is minutes from the Cape Quarter and V&A Waterfront.
At first bite, you’ll be able to tell that the team at Spice on Mail Restaurant and Bar is passionate about great food rich in colour, texture and flavour.
It’s a good idea to line your stomach considering the bottomless Hendrick’s Gin and tonic. Think pan-roasted beef fillet with mushroom and truffle creme or a veggie burger of black mushroom, avo, shallots, tomato, quinoa and vegan aioli.
