Taste SA's Winning Wines from the Veritas Awards 2008
Sample a few delightful sips of the finest wines South Africa has to offer this October
The Veritas Wine Tasting on 22 October 2008 is the perfect sequel to the Veritas Awards, which take place a few days before on 11 October 2008, and will give the general public an opportunity to sample the gold and double-gold winning wines.
Veritas is South Africa’s major competition for bottled wines and the tastings present wine enthusiasts with the opportunity to sample the finest of fine South African wines in the course of a single evening.
The Cape Town wine tasting event takes place in the Cape Sun Hotel on 22 October from 17:00 – 21:00.
Johannesburg wine fundis get their chance on 28 October, also from 17:00 – 21:00, in the Sandton Convention Centre.
Three more tastings are to be held in Knysna, Durban and Port Elizabeth during November.
From September 01, 2008 a limited number of tickets are available from Computicket.
The entry fee includes a tasting glass, light refreshments and pocket book with full results of the Veritas Awards.
South African cheeses with Qualité Awards will also be available for tasting, thanks to an agreement of association with Agri-Expo, organisers of the Qualité Awards.
Regarded as the darling of South Africa’s wine competitions, Veritas has become every South African winemaker’s desired symbol of brilliance on the bottle.
