Long Way Down arriving in Cape Town South Africa
Ewan and Charley are now half way through their incredible journey through Western Europe and Africa.
The guys have seen and done so much since they left John O'Groats, from being rained out in France to swimming in the Mediterranean, then crossing over to Africa by ferry and experiencing the varied cultures along the East coast of Africa.
Over the last few weeks alone, they've been through searing African heat, difficult border crossings, and challenging roads that have tested them as they headed down through Sudan and into Ethiopia - stopping at UNICEF sites along the way.
Ewan McGregor Arriving in Cape Town, South Africa They're really looking forward to the road ahead, where they’ll see gorillas in Rwanda, visit the Sossusvlei dunes in Namibia, drive through the Okavango Delta in Botswana, and Charley Boorman and Ewan McGregor will finally drive triumphantly into Cape Town in August.
