International star Ne-Yo Live in Cape Town
RnB sensation to make his South African debut in May
Grammy Award-winning American pop and R&B singer-songwriter Ne-Yo will be performing at the Bellville Velodrome, Cape Town on 4 May 2010.
He will be supported by young South African rapper JR of the “Show Dem” (Make the circle beeger) fame.
Shaffer Chimere Smith, aka Ne-Yo, broke into the recording industry as a songwriter by penning the hit "Let Me Love You" for singer Mario. The single's successful release in the United States prompted an informal meeting between Ne-Yo and Def Jam's label head, which led to a recording contract.
