Unusual things to do for Easter in Cape ...
Not your typical plans. Candle concert, (free) light art, game drive & more
Sometimes the greatest things in life don’t have to be explained, and if you’re a Mother City house head, you’ll need no rhyme or reason to attend the Hush party at 84 Harrington Street on Sunday, 15 June 2014 – you’ll know it’s one for the books (Monday, 16 June is Youth Day, which means no work!).
Featuring a line-up so hot you could be forgiven for thinking that summer is back already, the shindig is a straight-up, no-frills jol for those serious about their four-to-the-floor grooves. Cape Town’s kings and queen of house, like the legendary Erefaan Pearce, Leighton Moody and Lady M, will be dropping top-notch tunes until the wee hours of the morning, so make sure your dance muscles are nice and warmed up.
And since 84 Harrington Street is a venue that’s well equipped to handle are a dance-a-thon of these proportions (it used to be the Dragon Room), revelers can expect nothing but a quality jam topped off with performances by the best that the Cape Town electronic music scene has to offer.
