Take a trip to the West Coast for some lekker local music!

Yzerfontein is only just over an hour away from the Mother City and on Friday, 23 December 2016 Francois van Coke, South Africa’s favourite rocker, is lighting up your Christmas Eve’s eve with a rocking live concert at Delarey Farm.

This proud mzansi resident started his musical career in school. Today we know him as the lead singer for Fokofpolisiekar and the Van Coke Kartel. Have a look at some of the hits he’s has a hand in over the past few years!

The vent is being hosted at Delarey Farm in Yzerfontein, with its view of the ocean and spectacular sunsets the concert will allow you to fully appreciate the beauty of the area. How? Well, it’s outside of course! Enjoy the sunshine with your loved ones while listening to an SA icon in the making.

Please note that while the show does take place outside and guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, no food may be brought into the venue. There will be plenty of delicious eats on sale, as well as a selection of wines, beer and soft drinks.

Tickets are available online via Quicket.co.za and will cost R160p/p for adults and R85p/p for children. While Yzerfontein is only an hour away from the CBD, why not stay the night? They have some really lovely little guest houses and a night by the sea sounds pretty Christmassy to me! The gates open at 3pm (music will be played from 4pm) and Francois van Coke will hit the stage at 6pm.
