Beer is so South African, it practically supports the Boks and lives for biltong. On Saturday, 1 April 2017, the inaugural Fools and Fans Beer Festival hits Moravian Hall in Greyton for a day of locally crafted beer, delicious food and an awesome environment to combine them in.
The organisers understand your plight if your friends and/or significant other drinks the golden brew but you do not, then have no fear because there will be plenty of gin and wine to go around. More specifically, Six Dogs Craft Gin and Swallow Hill Wines will be in attendance to make sure that there is a drink for everyone to enjoy.
BEERS ON SHOW AT THE 2017 FOOLS AND FANS BEER FESTIVAL IN GREYTON
In a new twist, the organisers have arranged for a ‘homebrew’ competition to take place on the day. If you think your brew is the best of any bunch, then why not enter it and try your luck? The judges will be experienced beer makers/drinkers, so their opinion is law. If you want to enter, feel free to drop the organisers a message on the email address listed below.
This beer festival will also feature delicious, locally made food to pair with all the amazing beers on offer. All of the brewers exhibiting at the Fools and Fans Beer Festival are rearing and ready to delight you with their beers. Drinking beer is an art, and you’ll be taught all about tasting beer, pairing beer and how to enjoy each and every type of beer on show. Good luck beer drinkers, you’ll need it to survive the beer marathon ahead of you!
TICKETS FOR THE 2017 FOOLS AND FANS BEER FESTIVAL IN GREYTON
Tickets for this event are available online via Quicket.co.za for R100p/p. If you are planning to show one of your beers at the festival, then your entrance ticket is free. Included in the R100p/p ticket is a branded beer glass and access to all the beers available for tasting.
