Cape Town at it's best - showcasing what we have to offer the world
The Community Vibrations Day Concert is a showcase of the best performances from our 10 community festivals.
It provides an opportunity for artists from these communities to showcase their talents to audiences who would never have been privileged to see them perform.
The artists are chosen in a carefully managed process that involves a panel of judges going to each of the community festivals over a ten-week period and choosing the best performances.
The headline act for the Community Vibrations Day Concert is normally a well-established community artist.
The Cape Town Festival makes it possible, with the support of Golden Arrow Bus Services, for people from the 8 communities to attend this concert.
