Locals help us uncover the hidden treasures of this Garden Route gem
Spier has joined the Maties 92.6 FM ‘Red Goes Green' campaign. The wine estate is known for its own sustainability efforts through its ‘In search of sustainability’ campaign and its website ‘The Spier Way.’
The campaign will be supported through easily accessible recycling bin stations, as well as through various events throughout the month of October.
Recycling bins will be supplied around the Stellenbosch region and mini-projects will also be run to remove glass bottles from the waste stream.
Teams from the university, local businesses and the public will be challenged to participate in this race around Stellenbosch.
Be sure to read about other eco campaigns at Spier Wine Estate in conjunction with Maties 92.6 FM in our overview on the Red Goes Green at Spier.
The race will end with a picnic on the lawns at Spier.
All participants will receive a Red Goes Green cap and T-shirt.
