The two favorite local PSL soccer teams in Cape Town will be coming head to head on home ground in one of the final PSL matches.
The result of the Cape Town soccer Derby will have an important effect on the rankings in the 2007/2008 PSL season with both Ajax and Santos in the four top positions of the PSL.
Ajax is a South African football soccer team based in Cape Town’s Parow.
The Ajax Cape Town soccer club was formed in 1999 through the formation of two Cape Town based teams namely the Seven Stars and the Cape Town Spurs.
Next season Ajax Cape Town will hopefully be playing in their new soccer stadium in Philippi.
The new shirt sponsor of Ajax Cape Town, MTN, might just give Ajax the last little push to the top spot in the PSL this year but winning from its Cape Town soccer brother is definitely needed!

The club was established in 1982 in the Heideveld Cape Flats.
