There’s something very different, something rather special, about an intimate concert. On 15 September 6pm–7pm, Wilken Calitz will bring that intimate concert experience to The Drinkery in Shortmarket Street.

Wilken is a man of many instruments, and when you throw his looping pedals into the mix he becomes an entire band.

Having been nominated for a Fleur Du Cap award, Wilken is an established talent who composes music for a variety of productions and, of course, for you, the audience. It costs R100pp to enjoy his instrumental performance in the popular Heritage Square venue. To ensure the intimacy, the event is limited to just 25 people – be sure to be among them.

Nothing is endless, but the possibilities for what Wilken can string together and make using his acoustic and electric guitars, violin, harmonica, ukulele and looping pedals come close.
