It’s ‘winter’ time and in Stellenbosch that could only mean one thing. It is time to pull the corks and taste your favorite wines with South Africa’s best wine makers at the annual Stellenbosch Wine Festival.
Each year this wine festival plays host to thousands of local and international visitors, growing in numbers annually, yet still very informal.
Experience this wonderful weekend in the Stellenbosch winelands by making a weekend getaway out of it, although its only a mere 30 minutes drive from Cape Town.
Taste more than 500 wines from the Stellenbosch wine region. Do comparative varietal tastings at the cultivar table. Meet your favourite winemakers from the area and watch super chefs ‘cuisine it out’.
The wine festival offers fun for the whole family and caters for children well during the day. Bring the kids on Saturday or Sunday for the kiddies' winter games.
