Paint the town green this St Patrick’s Day in Cape Town

On the 17th March 2011 the  Irish patriotism is taking over Cape Town, and the Twankey Bar at Cape Town’s Taj Hotel is the place to be this St Patrick’s Day celebration.

Affectionately known as St Paddy’s day, it has become a firm favourite on the events calendar of South Africans and especially Capetonians.

Twankey Bar is hosting a St Patrick’s day to remember with Guinness - the best draught in Cape Town - at only R25 a pint, fresh oysters from South Africa and Namibia, and classic Irish tunes throughout the day.

And the cherry on the top? Our very own Table Mountain will be lighting up green between 20:00 and 00:00.
