You may think you know beer, but have you ever had a honey-and-lavender saison paired with baked brie in a pastry parcel?
Taste this and many other fantastic beer-and-food combinations, and meet the brewer behind them, at this beer event created and hosted by women at Beerhouse on Long on Thursday, 26 September 2019.

WHOSE BREW AND FOOD?
What’s great about this event is that you actually get to speak to the women behind the sustenance. For the beer, there’s head brewer of Hey Joe Brewing Co in Franschhoek, Anja van Zyl, and on the food side is Cooked with Clara from Jack Black’s Taproom. Lucy Corne of The Brewmistress blog will hold it all together and host. And although the event has been created by women, Meet The Brewers is open to everyone.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Food and beer are just the beginning of this evening. After the pairing, there’ll be music by resident DJ Branny for the rest of the evening. You may want to take the opportunity to dance off the generous menu and copious amounts of beer.

MORE ABOUT THE BEER AND FOOD
All beers will be from Hey Joe Brewing Co. The pairing menu for the evening will be as follows:
