Fresh bar and grill in Cape Town
From the owner who bought Capetonians Jason Bakery, comes the more jovial counterpart - Bardough by Jason. The atmosphere is casual and quirky, with chalkboards displaying witty interpretations of the menu.
The establishment is nestled comfortably on Loop Street and has, in its short time, made quite the noise in the city bowl. The bar and grill has come up with a fabulous weekly tradition called Shuck fest, which takes place every Friday from 5pm. The evening will provide delicious meals, from oysters to vleis. The menu looks to be regularly updated with new choices added on a weekly basis.
Many meals jump out at us when looking at the menu, but the one we can’t wait to order every time, is the Peppered Beef Sandwich. It has rare roast sirloin, mixed baby greens and cafe de Paris mayo - yummy right! The rest of the menu is impressively innovative and each meal is as fabulous as the next. Be sure to pop in and get yourself one of the fantastic dishes that Bardough by Jason has to offer.
We love the quirky atmosphere!
Tip: A there is only street parking, arrive a little earlier to find a parking spot or catch an uber
Opening Times: Monday - Friday: 9am - 3pm; Saturday: 11am - 7pm
