The Two Oceans Aquarium gives a special birthday gift to all South African citizens: Free entry on your birthday, plus six days thereafter, giving you a whole week to do one of the city’s most magical experiences. It’s something you can rediscover over and over again, whether you’re turning five or 50.

FREE THING TO DO ON YOUR BIRTHDAY

All you need to do to claim your free entry is show up with your ID book or driver’s licence. You can collect your pass from the ticket office either on your birthday or six days afterwards. 

Tickets are normally R250 for adults and between R115 and R185 for kids (children under four get in free). So free entry is a great saving for an awesome experience on your birthday.

DISCOVER 15 OTHER SECRETS IN THE AQUARIUM

Most people don’t know that every day around lunchtime, the Rockhopper penguins waddle through the Aquarium. There are also over 8 000 wonderful creatures to see and learn about, and scuba diving courses (where you can swim with turtles).

There are a lot of cool perks when you register for a yearly membership for the Aquarium, like unlimited visits and discounts on experiences like Adventure Diving for 365 days. Even invites to exclusive events, from speaker nights and dinners to family sleepovers.
