Kinky Summer: Carnivale Bizarre NYE Party

Boogie your way into 2017 with this carnivale-themed extravaganza in the Franschhoek valley

Calling all party animals: this is your night to groove, move and shake it without inhibition. We Love Summer and Kinky Disco invite you to a world where splashes of colour enliven the space, memories are made and fierce fashion takes centre stage. Kinky Summer’s annual NYE extravaganza is back with Carnivale Bizarre and it’s going down at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek. The party gets off to a flying start at 12pm on Saturday, 31 December 2016.

Don your best carinvale threads and let your imagination run wild at this playground filled with all things bizarre and wonderful. Prepare for funky surprises, great vibes and a serious celebration of the New Year. There’ll be three stages on the night so you’ll have plenty of big beats to choose from.

Esmerelda’s Electronic Emporium – House and Deep House Music

Balthazar’s Beat Bizzarium – Techno and Deep Techno Music

Arabella’s Aqua Azure – Disco and Electronica Music

Right now, we only have word on the headliners for 2016 and they are Enrico Sanguiliano, Doctor Dru and Crazy White Boy. Head over to their Facebook page for an up to date line-up. They’ll be releasing three artists per week in the run up to the event.

Camping is available on site at the festival and you also have the option of reserving a luxury tipi which accommodates four people with mattresses and bedding provided for R1600. Shuttle services to and from the venue are available, with a return trip costing R150p/p.

Foodies are encouraged to make a beeline for the Feastival Food Market, which will be offering numerous tasty delights to keep you dancing all night long. There’ll also be over 100 metres of efficient and well-stocked bars – need we say more?

New Bird tickets cost R550p/p, while Late Bird tickets cost R650p/p. Tickets are available from Nutickets.co.za and no under 21s are allowed at the event. VIP tickets are R950p/p.
