It’s that time of year again: from Friday, 3 to Sunday, 5 August 2012 the pitter patter of thousands of tiny feet will resonate from the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) as the 2012 SABC Education Baba Indaba descends on Cape Town.
As one of SA’s best known and most loved baby and parenting expos, this award-winning event is jam-packed with everything from talks and tutorials for parents to entertainment for the kiddies.
“Following the success of our previous expos, this year we are looking to bring parents bigger, better and more, so that they feel like they have a friend in the parenting world. We see the SABC Education Baba Indaba as a platform for parents to come together and feel like everything is taken care of for them. There are also so many exciting products to look forward to this year,” explains a very excited Natalie Naude, Show Director for SABC Education Baba Indaba.
So whether you’re power-parents in training or glowing parents-to-be looking for guidance, products or just a sign that you’re on the right track, the SABC Baba Indaba is the perfect place to find it all. Grandparents, god-parents, aunties and uncles, don’t think you’re excluded, if you’re looking for a baby shower gift, or are just in the mood to spoil the little tykes, don’t miss out on this baby and toddler extravaganza.
Highlights at Cape Town’s Baba Indaba 2012
Moms and dads keep those eyes and ears open for the hourly prize giveaways; you can win a voucher, hamper or sponsored prize.
We haven’t forgotten about the kids – saving the best for last. To keep your tykes entertained, Takalani Sesame is jumping out of the tv and onto the stage with musical acts and great characters each day at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Tickets are R60p/p at the door, and tickets purchased online through Babaindaba.co.za are only R50p/p, children older than six are R20p/p and children younger than six are free. Doors open at 9:30am and close at 5pm every day.
