Raise the dead for the second instalment of Alive, the winter trance party put on by master of the industry, Labyrinth, at Green Point super club Trinity on Saturday, 13 July 2013.
In the midst of a Cape Town pyschadelica scene practically rotten with indoor, winter jols, Labyrinth’s regular do is a healthy return to performances by top-notch international and local DJs in a tricked-out space. For this episode in the popular series, the organisers import Israeli-born beat-making sibling duo Sub6 to heat up the frosty Mother City with their fiery tracks and thumping bass lines. This global psytrance sensation is set to drop beats hot off their latest album (2012), “Future Kids Material”..
Hot local acts, like Headroom and Deliriant, will also descend on the Green Point institution, and sound gurus FunktionOne Sound are sure to summon even the most hard-core zombies to the tricked-out dance floors for an underworld experience. And if that’s not enough to entice you, this ghoulish party features neck-twisting effects by Intelligent Lighting, eye-popping décor by Luminos and vein-popping displays by Frank Latter Visuals.
Not to mention, multiple bars tender plenty of spirits (liquid and ethereal), shooters, beverages and drink specials to ensure you don’t...die of thirst. What’s more, this pimped out party will have a face-painting and temporary tattoo stall to really stimulate your inner demon!
Skip purgatory pretties, come Alive at Trinity!
