The musical Ghoema is a celebration of South African songs that form part of our musical heritage.
David Kramer and Taliep Petersen have created an exciting new musical
revue called Ghoema which celebrates and explores the musical heritage
of the Cape.
The ghoema is a barrel-shaped drum unique to the Cape, and Ghoema is a
dynamic production that explains the songs created through Africa' s
fusion with the East and the West - the cultural breyani stirred up in
the bowl between the mountains and the sea.
There will be low price previews on December 11th at 20h00, December
12th at 20h30 and December 13th at 16h00. Show days are Monday to
Friday at 20h00 and Saturdays at 17h30 and 20h30.
