Disco divas and boogie badgers, get your fly selves down to Jade Champagne Bar & Lounge in Green Point on Friday, 31 October 2014, for the next legendary MoFunk party. Launched in Cape Town on the 40th anniversary of Motown records back in 1998, Mofunk celebrates the very essence and soul of the Motown era.

Not just about funky clothes and happy sitcoms, the 70s was all about good music, and getting groovy was a fundamental fix throughout the decade. Old-school revellers can expect a mix that starts with soul, moves onto funk, and then transitions into disco and Afrobeat to keep those toes a-tapping all night long.

With more than 100 MoFunk events having been held in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, and even across the seas in Bahrain and Dubai, one can only expect the greatest groovy tunes, biggest ‘fros and most banging bell-bottom jeans at this blast-from-the-past party.
