Camps Bay’s iconic Café Caprice; home of sultry summer soirées, internationally recognised masters of mixology complete with world-class concoctions and high-quality leisurely dining now invites all – local and international folk alike – to channel their inner mixologist and join the dapper venue this summer season for its Juniper Sunset Sessions with Tanqueray Gin and hosted by the talented DJs, Thank Me Later.

Taking place every Friday from 4pm onwards, G&T-enthusiasts, aspiring-barmen, as well as those just there to have a good time, are given the opportunity to curate, mix and drink their own gin and tonic creations – with some help from the trusty establishment’s world-class bartenders, of course!

The seaside hangout will provide patrons with Tanqueray Gin and the necessary tonic as well as an array of garnishes – think jingleberries, rosemary stalks, fresh citrus, star anise and even an olive or two, amongst many other trimmings – to infuse their G&Ts with by the way of a mobile bar positioned in the front of the café. Turning things up a notch, along with the personalised gin-infusions and spectacular summer evenings, patrons can enjoy a great mix of house tunes from local and international DJs on the night.

What’s more, rumour has it that there might be a complimentary bottle or two of Tanqueray Gin floating around looking for a large table to join…

Cocktail-enthusiasts will be happy to know that there is no charge at the door for the event; however, they can expect to pay around R40 for their personalised G&T. Large groups are encourage to book and purchase a bottle of Tanqueray Gin (for around R660) for the table.
