Action Paintball Means War!

Man your troops, load your guns, and get ready for battle in Tokai Forest

Do you often tell your friends that you would’ve been an excellent war general – greater than Napoleon and De La Rey combined? Why not try your hand at war in the safe(ish) environment of action paintball.

Kitted out in realistic camouflage gear and armed with a serious looking weapon, you’ll have the time of your life getting down and dirty, stalking the enemy and trying to avoid becoming a target yourself!

Like any half-decent war general, make sure you develop a strategy before you run out guns blazing or you’ll find yourself covered in enemy paint before you can say uncle.

Action Pursuit Group’s (APG) home arena in Tokai Forest is the ideal setting for the extreme sport. The taller than life pine trees, brown crackly leaves, and rock formations in the forest make you feel like you’re fighting in a far off land rather than in Cape Town’s back yard.

Whether you’re planning a birthday party, a corporate team build, bachelor party, or just want to round up the gang for an adventurous and fun day out, paintball is the perfect way to get the blood pumping.

But be warned, these babies sting! If your motto in life is “I bruise easily so be gentle when you handle me” , this sport is not for you. Players must be 11 years or older to be allowed on the playing field.

At a cost of R105 - which includes gun, gear, and 100 paintballs per player - this is a great and affordable way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon.

The arena is open for two sessions a day from Monday to Sunday - 09:15 to 12:45 and 13:15 to 16:45.

The arena can be found at Tokai Forest along Spaanschemat River Road (M42). Continue along the M42 past the Constantia turnoff and you will soon drive into the Tokai Forest Reserve..

Booking is essential as the arena is often booked up to 14 days in advance.
