'A magical work of wonder and a reminder that no one is ever too old to enjoy clowns.’ - Evening Standard
Clowns scare a lot of people, for reasons that we best not get into. This phobia probably does not affect sufferers 99% of their lives, but it’s time to man up, and let Chuckles give you a cuddle. From Wednesday, 17 August to Sunday, 28 August 2016, the multi-award winning production will be on our doorstep, at the Artscape Opera House.
Slava’s Snowshow is the brain child of Russian performance artist Slava Polunin. His love of clowns is obvious, and this show is a heart-warming adventure through a comic drawn, dreamlike world filled with strange and spectacular curiosities.
The production has travelled to over 120 cities around the world, including Paris, Rome, LA, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Moscow and many more. It’s now time to add Cape Town to that list people. The Snowshow is aimed at children and adults alike, with the ideal age being anything over eight years old.
The show is big, loud, bright and hilarious. It will touch your heart, and make your ribs hurt from laughing and enchant you with everything from giant balls to a water fight and a feather rainstorm to a real life blizzard.
TICKETS TO THE 2016 PRODUCTION OF SLAVA’S SNOWSHOW AT THE ARTSCAPE THEATRE OPERA HOUSE
