The best of the best of the local rock music scene will be descending on Hillcrest Quarry in Durbanville on Sunday, 30 April 2017. The next day is Worker’s Day, and that means you will be given the freedom to celebrate your worker status with a day off.
Prime Circle, one of South Africa’s most successful musical exports, are scheduled to perform along with some other well-known Mzansi residents. The event itself will be a fusion between concert and an outdoor adventure day with wakeboarding, lilo lounging, swimming and canoeing on offer at the Quarry. Be sure to pack your bikini and soak up as much Vitamin D as humanly possible. Don’t forget your sunscreen, sun hat and also a change of clothes for later because you can bet your bottom dollar that it will get chilly later in the night.
The event will boast two stages; one that will house the bigger artists (the Main Stage) and the up-and-coming artists at the HQ Stage. The line-up is impressive for any fan of rock, and still impressive if you’re not such a fan. Not many South African can hear ‘Prime Circle’ and she comes around like a wildfire, and like a moth drawn to a flame doesn’t immediately pop up.
LINE-UP AT THE 2017 PRIME CIRCLE ROCK FEST AT HILLCREST QUARRY
Have little listen to all of the artists that will be taking to the stage (either one) on Sunday, 30 April 2017 at the Prime Circle Rock Fest at Hillcrest Quarry. We think they are all amazing, and you should give them a listen!
