Steaks are the main event. The tastings complete the experience
Hip hip hooray! The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) turned 10 this June, and to commemorate this achievement, the first-rate venue is hosting a birthday bash with award-winning house music trio Mi Casa on Friday, 13 September 2013 (the official birthday date is Friday, 28 June 2013).
The Foreshore’s crown jewel invites one and all to celebrate the decade of hard work as well as its well-earned reputation as a Mother City landmark and the unofficial home to major annual events, like the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, the Design Indaba, Decorex Cape Town and many more, with a banging jol. Patrons can either gain VIP or general access; the shindig is tailored to give VIP attendees an exclusive experience with complimentary drinks, snacks and free parking.
The party kicks off at 8pm (doors open at 7:30pm), and attendees can catch Mi Casa on stage in the main area. Afterward, renowned DJs Vernon Carver, Andy Carr and Tyrone Paulsen will drop thundering bass lines to get the booties bopping into the wee hours of the morning.
What’s more, if party-people work up a raging appetite while busting moves on the dance floor, they can mosey on down to the outside area where a range of drink and food stalls will cater to all tastes.
