Kristin Matsson is coming to town and he’s bringing with him a voice about as gravelly as oom Gerrie’s shortcut through the Cederberg.

The Swedish songwriter/singer has two shows lined up for South Africa; the Cape Town show being held at the CTICC on Friday the 10th of February.  Following his sold out performances in UK, Europe and Australia it’s our turn.

The Tallest Man On Earth has earned himself a reputation with his unforgettable live performances and captivating voices around. Many will say ahh this sounds Bob Dylanish – it just may be. But it’s apparent that this man casts his own shadow too, in the world of folk folklore.

After releasing his critically acclaimed album “Shallow Grave” Matsson wrote and performed songs on his second album “The Wild Hunt” in the months after touring with John Vanderslice and Bon Iver, garnering more fans along the way and rave reviews from the likes of Rolling Stone Magazine and Pitchfork who praised him as “a natural-born folksinger, earnest, clever, and comforting.”
