House cats, listen up! If you’ve been missing some deep house beats and sultry basslines, the folks at The Imperial have got you covered for the Easter weekend. Thanks to the collective of like-minded producers and DJs known as Commons Grounds, the Mother City can look forward to what the member of newly founded label This Ain’t Bristol Records and up-and-coming British beatmaker Billy Kenny has in store on Saturday, 4 April 2015.
The lad from Leeds descends on Cape Town as part of his South African tour, and although he has only recently hit the popular house, bass and techno scene with the release of his hit single 'Work' in 2014, the producer has a quickly growing loyal following.
Known for crafting those catchy house beats and not shying away from basslines that get the dance floor groovin’, Kenny can certainly be trusted to make it a next-level evening.
Party-goers can also get amped for impressive decor, a second hip-hop dance floor and performances by other local beatmakers, like bass guru Fultronbass and East London natives The Funk Connection.
Do note, the dress code is smart casual – so be prepared to dress up and dance the night away.

Tickets for the concert are available at the door and from individual ticket distributors. Entry costs R80p/p for pre-sold tickets and R100p/p at the door.
