Hot Water at Concerts in the Park

Get a little local flavour with the best in reggae-pop-rock!

The Concerts in the Park series continues with Hot Water hitting the stage on Sunday, 5 March 2017. These local lads and lasses cannot wait to take the stage for your enjoyment in one of Cape Town’s most picturesque parks. The gig is being opened by Cape Town man and idols contestant, Mark Haze.

For over 11 years, Hot Water have been injecting some fun into the Cape Town music scene. Donovan Copley, the band's frontman, founder and creator, plays unique sounds on his African guitar, and his dedication of authentic local music is evident. Hot Water have played at gigs and festivals all over the world; India, the Netherlands, Thailand, Germany, Spain, and the UK. They’ve gone from one success to the next with their albums doing fantastically in the domestic markets. In order of publishment their albums are Home, One, South, Songoma and Mama Xmas.

To get yourself in the mood for such a upbeat concert, have a listen to (in my opinion) some of their best work:

The Concerts in the Park Series sees various local artists perform at parks across Cape Town, all in the name of promoting local talent and celebrating the lovely venues that the Mother City boasts! You are more than welcome to bring a picnic blanket, a basket filled with goodies and the whole family. Yes, we really do mean the whole family; furry friends included!
