Flowers in spring, whales in summer and wildlife all year
Nominated one of the 10 Best Wine Shows in South Africa, this year’s Hermanus Wine and Food Fair will be better than ever, offering wine and food in the main marquee to create a sociable, easy flow of visitors over three days.
Background music in the food court will ensure a festive atmosphere for visitors having a meal or snack and a wine and beer bar will be available in the free section of the marquee.
Wine lovers will have a selection of more than 200 wines to taste in the wine side of the marquee for a fee of R95p/p per day.
All the wines on tasting will be available for purchasing at the Wine Village during the festival at cellar prices. This is the only Wine and Food Fair in South African where you are able to purchase the wines tasted and take them home immediately or have them shipped anywhere in the world.
The NavChallenge will also be held at the Hermanus Wine and Food Fair – the NavChallenge is a 3 hour orienteering/treasure hunt type event open to both trail runners and mountain bikers.
The intention of the organizers is to provide a fun filled outdoor adventure to all levels of trail runner and mountain biker, regardless of whether or not they have prior experience in orienteering or navigation. Strategy and careful route planning might just be more beneficial than outright speed in this adventure.
To ensure a successful and enjoyable event, the number of entries has been limited. Round 2 of the entry process opens 9th June 2011, so enter on www.raceinterface.co.za and guarantee your place.
