Gravity Adventure Festival

Now in its 8th year the annual Gravity Adventure Festival has cemented its place as South Africa’s most diverse and biggest adventure festival. What started out as a kayaking event has grown from adrenaline inducing event to adrenaline inducing event.

This cross pollination of eye – widening adventures held in the rugged yet beautiful Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve is at the heart of the festivals ethos.

Events include a short course adventure race, kayak sprint and down river race, rafting, trail run, river swim, film festival, kids events and live bands and dj.

At the epicenter of the festival is the festival hub at the Palmiet Caravan Park with food stalls and more importantly a fully stocked bar – of course to replace ‘vital electrolytes’ spent by participating in the adventurous events.
