Get into summer's groove in Bonnievale

Venture out for a breath of fresh country air and a summer workout at the 2010 Bonnievale Bonanza. This fantastic town festival will keep everyone happy – oupas and oumas, lighties, pimplies and wrinklies alike!

Each year the friendly townsfolk of Bonnievale set aside the first weekend of November for cyclists, walkers, runners and couch potatoes to come and enjoy the beauty and fun festivities in the countryside.

This year offers three cycling routes, one mountain bike route and a 5km fun run/walk. Mad about machines? Try the enduro routes for motorcyclists and quad bike enthusiasts or the 4x4 route.

Visitors will find plenty of stalls to shop at, a play park for kids, lots of competitions – even a Miss Sweetheart, Bonnie Babe and Teenage Bonanza. The cool line-up features Emo Adams, Rooies, Wynand en Cheree, Karlien Husselman and Viljoen Retiefand. Of course there's a beer tent – no South African festival would be complete without one.
