Saturday Psyde Show ft. Bizzare Contact
A “Bizzare” encounter at Cape Town’s latest trance club
The Labia Theatre in Cape Town presents the 2011 annual South African Horror Festival (trail off with evil laughter). (Begin with deep haunting voice) This Cape Town Halloween film festival will feature a host of classic, rare and new horror movies. Both feature and short films from around the world will be screened, with most of them making their South African debut.
Audiences will be submersed in the horror like never before (distant scream fills the air) with live soundtrack performances by The Makabre Ensemble, a literary chapter, short film and short story competitions, Halloween dress-up, an alternative night market and other surprises that go bump in the night.
Lineup:
Some of the movies confirmed include:
The Theatre Bizzare (a seven part horror anthology)
Night of The Living Dead (a 60’s classic reinterpreted by over 100 artists)
I am Nancy
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (screened with soundtrack performed live) and
Shadow Realm (a short film collection consisting of 6 hours of mind-blowing short films from around the world screened as three feature length films).
