Tickets for kids from R10! And you can bring your own food
For a majestic and unique performance that combines the magic of cirque with beautiful arrangements by the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra (CTPO), don’t miss Cirque de la Symphonie’s two-night-only run at GrandWest on Saturday, 21 and Sunday, 22 June 2014.
Back by popular demand after a sold-out run last year, the extraordinary production features contortionists, jugglers, aerial flyers, dancers and strongmen who wow spectators with their acrobatics and breathtaking displays of strength and balance. The entertainers’ fantastic feats are paired with the CTPO’s soaring renditions of classical masterpieces and popular contemporary music to make for a truly mind-boggling combination.
Symphony maestro Theodore Kuchar will be conducting the orchestra while the spectacle spins and swirls in the foreground, making for an unbelievable night rife with childish wonder, death-defying showmanship and awe-inspiring scores.
The Cirque de la Symphonie troupe has dazzled and delighted audiences in the United States, Canada, Australia and here, in Mzansi, and each time, the performance has packed venues and received stellar accolades. If you didn’t get a chance to experience the magic the first time around, be sure not to miss the internationally acclaimed act and its one-of-a-kind routines.
