The winter school holidays are all about keeping the kids busy. Whether it’s sending them to a play date or letting them veg in front of the TV, we don’t judge. This year, the masterminds of The Silk Circus are hosting a circus training workshop for children aged six to thirteen, and it promises to be a lot of fun!
This week-long workshop runs from Monday, 27 June to Friday, 1 July 2016 at the Erin Hall in Rondebosch. Being so centrally located, the workshop provides parents with a safe and educational environment for your kids to enjoy.
The workshop will teach the young ones a beginner level of acrobatics, juggling, human pyramid building, hula-hooping, contortion, and aerial skills. Never fear mums and dads, your children will be in very safe hands, with professionals looking after them.
Every experience should be a learning one for your kids, and this workshop is no different. The organisers have faith that it will promote confidence, team spirit and coordination, build muscle tone and improve flexibility.
TICKETS FOR THE 2016 CIRCUS HOLIDAY WORKSHOP AT ERIN HALL IN RONDEBOSCH
The week-long workshop runs from 9am to 12pm and is priced at R650 per child. Spaces are limited, so please remember to book ahead by contacting The Silk Workshop directly on thesilkworkshop@gmail.com, or calling them on +27 (0)73 273 3538.
