What do you get when you combine beer and brunch? The folk at Beerhouse know the answer to that, and it can be summed up in one word: Beerrunch. That is, patrons wishing to spend their Saturday and/or Sunday mornings in a meaningful way can head over to the popular Long Street watering hole to cure hangovers and satiate their palates with tasty grub. The best part? Folk who simply mention CapeTownMag while booking a spot get a 10% discount on their bill – just like that!
The Beerrunch menu, which is available only between 11am and 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays, boasts a mean selection of eats like the Monte Cristo Sandwich (features Emmental cheese, ham and Dijon mustard on wholemeal with dipped and pan-fried egg), the classic Eggs Benedict (with creative alternatives), Cinnamon Waffles, Weisswurst (a German pretzel with sweet mustard) and more – creating the perfect post hangover solution.
Launched in 2013, the ‘yellow house of beer’ as it is known, prides itself in being the ultimate location for beer enthusiasts to not only taste and guzzle down enticing concoctions, but to learn more about the seemingly endless world of IPA’s and Lagers. Boasting an insatiable list of mixes from around the world (the haunt is famously known for its 99 bottles and 26 beers on tap offering), Beerhouse has come out tops in not just being a place where one can enjoy beer and some grub, but as a destination in and of itself with lots to explore.
